CalArts pianists Peter Miyamoto, Vicki Ray, Lorna Edder and composer James Tenney perform an evening of works for two quater-tone-tuned-pianos including works by James Tenney himself, Charles Ives and the world premiere of Separations I and II by Nicholas Chase. Concert will feature a guest performance of Mark Menzies in a semi-rare performance on piano.

Nicholas Chase performs Dumuzi: for Morton Subotnick with electronics and live instrumentation at the California Institute of the Arts as part of a concert given in honor of Morton Subotnick's 70th birthday. Program includes a retrospective of Subotnick's chamber music as well as the performance of "Gestures," a recent digital work given by Subotnick himself.
