The Capital Region's WMHT TvFILM series launches its 2nd season this Sunday, June 27 at 10:30pm. This season's opening episode will feature Chase's collaborative film 11 Ideas (About People and Stuff) with an interview and commentary by Chase about the making of the film, its concept and its future.


WMHT's TvFILM looks at what filmmaking is happening in the region. Guided by host Brandon Bethmann, TvFILM features short films to documentaries to animated shorts, and leaves no cinematic stone unturned.


WMHT and TvFILM will be airing extended filmmaker interviews on the TvFILM blog.

Dali's Egg: Chapter 1 (Other People's Things) has been selected as a finalist in the KALAMAZOO ANIMATION FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL (KAFI), and will be screened competitively along with shorts by Bill Plympton, Peter Parr and a host of others. KAFI is the premiere animation festival of the Midwest and one of the top 20 animation festivals in the world. KAFI 2007 is the most ambitious KAFI event to date, screening the work of animators and industry veterans such as Pixar, Disney, Nickelodeon, Hanna Barbera, Electronic Arts, Cartoon Network, Adobe, Dreamworks, Animation World Network, PBSKids, and Alias. The first international screening of Dali's Egg: Chapter 1 (Other People's Things) takes place at the Academy of Fine arts in Helsinki, Finland as part of the STRANGER THAN FICTION - HELSINKI film festival. The festival is an extension of the STRANGER THAN FICTION festival that took place in San Francisco at The Lab in July 2006. STRANGER THAN FICTION was curated by Nomi Talisman and STRANGER THAN FICTION - HELSINKI is curated by Pilvi Takala.
